Spanish Masters promote Europe’s second Championships
The European Masters Athletics biennial Non-Stadia Championships are being held in Alicante from 18-20 May only two months after Spain organised the EMA Indoor Championships in Madrid. The three day event commence with a 10km Road Run and Walk. Entries for the Walking events are very encouraging with 124 men and 80 women entered.
The following day cross-country relays consisting of 3 x 2km for the women and M60-plus, men 35-55 run 4-stages, while the Walkers tackle 20/30km on the road. On the final day over 550 run a half marathon. Details can be found on www.european-masters-athletics.org
